Rose grew up in Rio Blanco County and returned to the area with her husband in March 2025. She has a deep appreciation for nonfiction—particularly works on physics and space—and a discerning taste in fiction. Rose is drawn to stories with rich worldbuilding, emotional depth, and originality, with a special fondness for fiction written in the 1800s. Her favorite authors include Brandon Sanderson, Fr. Robert Spitzer, Thomas Hardy, and the Brontë sisters.
